Woodland Wonder
Recently did a shot with my multi talented friend, photograher and blogger of Stephosnacks. It was an absolutely glorious morning so we went to the local wood to shoot. I wore a vintage dress gifted to me, one of my favourite vintage dresses in my wardrobe, there's no label so I can't tell you the brand. The fabric of the dress is so light and soft, flows beautifully and twirls like a dream...the ideal dress to shot in! I paired it with a vintage hat, gloves and peep toe heels which are modern from New Look. It was such a fun experience to shot with a close friend, enjoy the beautiful woodlands and then we had a little picnic after! All photos are taken by Stephosnacks, hair, make-up and styling by me. Visit her blog for lots of gorgeous food, recipes, reviews and much more...! For more from the shot visit me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Google +. Next week, Tropical Paradise ♡

Freddies Of Pinewood
.jpeg)
The brand is extremely popular with retro enthusiasts, vintage lovers and women that like classic style but their not exclusive to a certain style design is can still be worn the fit and designs of Freddies denim jeans are far more flattering to any size when compared with the modern standard denim wear as they sit just above the waist rather than hanging on your hips so the jeans give you an instant curves and really do look very flattering as they fall on the narrow part of your waist. Instead the fit of the Freddies denim takes the focus away from your hips and accentuates your waist which will also instantly give you more of an hourglass shape and looks sexier which is always a plus! They're definitely worth checking out if you want something a little different than what's available from your average high street store or even if you're looking for casual wear with a more flattering vintage style fit.
When I bought my first pair I instantly fell in love with the cut and the quality of the denim it's practically indestructible. It's so heavy which is fantastic as you're guaranteed to have them for years, so for me it's worth the investment! I want to get another pair; I love these the new fifties button up jeans that are new to their denim collection. Their clothes are ideal for the creating the perfect retro casual look without being too dramatic or dressy. Below are some of favourites you'll find online now!
You can check out there full range on-line at: http://www.freddiesofpinewood.co.uk/ . Thanks for reading and stopping by and have a great week! x

Botanical Brillance
One of the things I really love to do on sunny weekends it get outdoors, visit pretty garden and walk. Being stuck indoors at work all week sometimes leaves to feeling drained and creatively uninspired so to recharge I love exploring nature, it really helps gather me thoughts and provides so much fashion and creative inspiration. From the beautiful colours, smells of all the plants and flowers, birds, wind in the trees, in bloom it come alive again. Nature, to me, is absolutely wondrous and I love that I live near so many beautiful parks, walled gardens and Victorian gardens.

Visit your local botanical gardens, parks or take a walk around your local area if you haven't already and you'll be so pleasantly surprised by all the beauty that surrounds you. From sweet windows boxes to large scale gardens we can all create and appreciate nature however big or small the space or budget you have. It's the same with fashion you don't need to spend a lot or anything to enjoy...it's free to go to most gardens, park and enjoy the outdoors. To be more eco and budget friendly visit your local thrift stores and charity shops, I always find hidden gems. For more nature and fashion inspiration visit me and follow on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, Twitter where I post my daily looks and adventures. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

Hell Bunny Flamingo Print Cardigan |
I found this gorgeous little cardigan from Hell Bunny at Blue Banana. I adore anything with flamingo's and the soft pastel shade is the ideal shade for spring time. This would look so pretty with a simple pair of retro inspired capri pants, circle skirt or any dress of your choice. I love that you don't even need to add any accessories with this cardigan as it got the beautiful flamingos either side so you're good to go in record time! For more super cute retro inspired cardigans visit Mischief Made Me, Top Vintage Boutique, Emmy Designs Sweden, Doll Me Up Inc, Trashy Diva and Collectif.

Lindy Bop 28" Peach Petticoat |
This pretty peach petticoat is from Lindy Bop and is very reasonably priced for those of you that are looking for something inexpensive but good quality I would recommend checking out their line as they stock an array of colours and different lengths depending on what you're planning to wear. I adore this soft peachy pink shade for spring or summer as it's that time of year when you can wear something a little softer, girlier when the sun eventually decides to come out. Petticoats should be multi layered which will enhance and puff out any dress or skirt making you instantly feel like a vintage princess. Vivien of Holloway create some of the best petticoats too, along with Petticoats a Plenty, Malco Modes, Setrino and Doris Designs.

BAIT Footwear Pastel Pink Heels |
I adore heels but they are just not practical for everyday wear when I'm at work or need to do much walking. B.A.I.T. have loads of styles with practical heel heights for busy ladies, or if you're like me and constantly running about because you're late! These pretty little heels would look adorable paired with dress, separates or skinny style jeans or trousers to show then off in all their glory. You can also find amazing shoes at ReMix Vintage Shoes, ModCloth, Pinup Girl Clothing, Miss L Fire, Agnes and Norman, ASOS, Plasticland, Royal Vintage Shoes and TUK Footwear.

Seductress Style

Designer Micheline Pitt models Deadly Dames Capsule Collection from Pinup Girl Clothing. Faux leather dress and bolero |
Seductress style is about confidence and classic style; embracing your femininity and most importantly enjoying fashion! Any of the women that capture seductress style, to me, appear effortlessly beautifully yet perfectly groomed which is no mean feat! The key is not to look as though you've tried too hard to create any look! Don't to go too over-the-top with accessories, let the clothes do the talking! Hair and make-up should be kept classic with red lips and cateye for the final touches to create the look.

♡ Vintage lovers must have - The Trench Coat! ♡
The trench coat without debate is the optimum of chic; from royalty, the elite, the stylish, and the ultra glam are all loyal fans and I most certainly am too! It's a classic wardrobe stable, it's light weight, chic and has been in style since it was created in the early 1900's. While there is debate as to origin of the trench coats design Burberry, Aquascutum and Barbour all have an important place in it's history and those famous brand are still making some of the most sought after and highly priced trench coats available. While they may be out of the realm of most of our humble fashion budgets, you'll find fantastic trench coats available from Forever 21, Gap, Topshop, Primark, Net-a-Porter, Whistles, Marks&Spencer, The Outnet.com, Farfetch.com, John Lewis, French Connection, Next, Zara, House of Fraser, Reiss, Warehouse, Hobbs Soia & Kyo, L.K. Bennett, Lands'End, or you can find new, vintage or used trenches on eBay, Esty, ASOS Market place, Decades and there are many more wonderful shops online. Whether you prefer new or vintage most trench coat coat stil opt for the classic design based on the original make of double breasted with deep collar, and belt at the waist. Black, beige or red is my personal favourite but again that's down to preference, you can get everything from polka-dots to floral or leopard but if you want a coat that will last from season to season and year-to-year to come. It's best to invest in a really good trench and in a neutral colour and it will last you forever if you look after it well.
Our love affair with the trench coat never seems to dampen; from the world war one soldiers in Britain and French, the design proved not only a roaring success within the military; post WW1 many civilians began to see to the functionality as well as the chicness of the garment and by the end of the Second World War the trench coat had grown massively in popularity. Hollywood cemented the trench coat into cult status in classics such as Casablanca, A Foreign Affair, Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Killers, Out of the Past and is synonymous with Film Noir genre (watch any of these movies and you'll want to go out and buy a trench, I guarantee!). Who wouldn't want to smoulder like Marlene Dietrich or emulate the chicness of Audrey Hepburn, I fell in love with the trench just from watching all the old Hollywood movie stars and my fascination with vintage fashion began and all from the trench coat! So go and get a trench either vintage or new and once you start wearing yours you'll never want to be without on again, it really is a must for you're Spring wardobe and for any vintage loving lady or guy! You can find amazing vintage trench in local charity shops or you nearest vintage seller, you can usually find them within the £30 - £50 range but unless it the trench is in mint condition and an actual Burberry or designer I would never pay more than that. Vintage items are fashionable at moment so be mindful of the quality and price is correctly reflected and that it's authentic. I've come across items that were being sold as vintage but were not which is annoying to say the least. For this reasonI think vintage reproduction can sometimes be a better option; something to consider when making any vintage purchase. I can't wait to purchase a new trench coat for Spring and I'll post all about very soon...happy hunting for yours!
Don't forget to visit The Chic guide on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Tumblr. Please spread the vintage love by liking and following! I really appreciate you stopping by and most importantly- have an amazing weekend!
Lots of love,
♡
