I am fashion crazy; I love everything about the industry and the clothes. I literally live for fashion, (no exaggeration; my money always seems to go on clothes, shoes, handbags or accessories....!!). I admire individuality and the fearless; I adore to people watch and see admire other peoples styles and I gain lots of inspiration from that. I see fashion as an art form; a way to express yourself and be creative. To me, clothes are not something you just wear - they are part of you and your personality. It's important to cultivate your own style, something that lets the world know that this is how you are! Fashion is for everyone, we can all develop our own signature style and I hope The Chic Guide will help you and others to be more creative and bold!
Remember - Fashion should always be fun, no matter what age, size or shape you are; so be adventurous, try something that you never would or thought you would or could wear, be yourself and most importantly be FABULOUS and CHIC!

No.3 Colour/Print Clashing

At no. 3 is Colour/Print Clashing which was major in 2011 and you're sure to see more of it in 2012! Victoria Beckham, Charlotte Taylor, Reed Krakoff, Moschino, Prada and many more designers all featured elements in their latest collections for Spring/Summer 2012 but this look is great for winter too and adds an instant touch of sun to the dull months ahead! Don't be afraid to team up prints that you think would not ordinarily work together, be bold and bright! This dress by Victoria Beckham is a personal favourite for it versatility and of course the print is oh so cute too. This type of dress would look amazing also worn with thick black tights and your favourite heels or ankle boots. Remember that this look is meant to be fun, it's almost like you get to be a kid again wearing such brightly coloured fun and bold prints, so don't hold back!
However, if you this look seems too bright and full-on for you, then try some graphic print or bold colour tights or clashing your shoes and handbag or accessories boldly like SJP who is the queen of clashing, there so many ways to add a catwalk edge to your look the key is to always wear what you feel comfortable in and you'll look good and carry it well, you can still be on trend, without being too bold with a few key pieces.

You don't need a massive budget either, there are so many create pieces on the high street here are some my favourites for recreating this look Warehouse, Topshop, River Island, Oasis, Urban Outfitters, and on-line. Check out: Agnes and Lola they have some fantastic items and they also have a great sale on the at the moment as well! Also check out: House of Fraser who also have many fab items sale, what I particularly love about House of Fraser is the fact that you can find loads of great brands available from one site. Frock and Frill also have a gorgeous range of clothing, as well it worth visiting Full Circlethey have a really great contemporary range, have fun!
